Hey everyone, the busy part of the week has started with Saiyaman releasing a RAW (no subs or editting) version of episode 178, downloadable here. The episode entitled "Encounter, The boy that has a name of Star" begins a new and most likely the last filer arc that we will see for some time. After that comes the very long-awaited Kakashi Gaiden and Naruto Part 2, which will totally blow your socks off! We'll let you know the status of the fillers once the title to episode 183 is announced on the Japanese Naruto TV schedule website. Back to the topic, we'll see an English-subbed vesion of the episode in a little while, we'll update you then. RMVBs will soon follow.
Sup people, Dattebayo has released their usual English-subbed version of the episode, and I have decided to not be as lazy (or busy) as last week and upload this thing for direct download as soon as I had it downloaded (haha, used IRC, downloaded it in no time at all). The AVI is up for DIRECT DOWNLOAD now (until the link dies, I'm sure it will), so get it while and if you can! Also, as Majinuub posted in his edit a bit ago if you had the privilage to read it, we were the FIRST site ANYWHERE to mention the release, a whole 34 seconds after it came out! Nice work, Majinuub. Anyways, if you prefer to use Bittorrent for downloading with, check out Dattebayo's torrent page and give this sucker a download. I'm already encoding the RMVBs aswell, so hopefully we can get at least the HQ version up pretty soon. Also, if for some reason you don't have 177 yet, I've finally uploaded it for direct download, mainly just to keep the streak of direct downloads going (I believe that the episode 173 link died due to the bandwidth limit being reached, but that's 5 episodes back so nobody really cares anymore). But yeah, the AVIs of 177 and 178 are both up for direct download, and the newest RMVBs will be up soon aswell. Cya!
EDIT: Sorry, running a bit behind because the HQ was corrupted during encoding (yeah, bad luck), and I don't have time to upload the MQ since I have to leave. Also, there's a thunderstorm right now so I can't let my PC run while I'm out, so no uploading or HQ encoding, I guess. I'll get them up as soon as I can.
Now for the extras that I put in the topic. NBST has had their chapter 300 out for a few days, give it a download here and support the team! Also, their logo design contest ends in a couple days, so it's time to get going! I, TributeX, and NoOnE have been discussing about getting an IRC channel for Naruto-Bunshin. I'll just run through what IRC is for you newbies out there. IRC, stands for "Internet Relay Chat", as you may have gathered from the title it's a program that allows people to talk, and share files. IRC is perhaps the most cost-efficient and fastest way of downloading. This is nothing new as anime fansubbers have been using it for years, as a method of episode distribution. Infact NoOnE, and I have been using it for years, and obviously support this idea as it benefits everyone. IRC Bots work for people with all connections, it has the ability to resume for all you 56kers, and they have super fast speeds for all you guys with the uber-speed connections. IRC has many other features, but the main ones we'll be using is the download feature, and the chat features where you'll be able to talk to the NB community live! It's free (although some donations would be appreciated), it has no viruses or anything of the sort, no time limit. Dont skip this! IRC is a great tool, but for this to work we need your opinion! Hey readers, we don't usually make news topics, just because there aren't many things to cover usually and they're painfully boring for us admins to write, but there's a couple of notable things to be aware of.
First up, there's been some confusion revolving around the remaining number of filler episodes. While it is hasn't been made official yet, it is very likely that episode 182 will feature the end of Naruto Part 1, followed by the Kakashi Gaiden (and the new season) in 183, and Naruto Part 2 beginning a few episodes after that. This is all just speculation, but it is MUCH more likely than Dattebayo's randomly made-up "24 fillers remaining" statement in the latest episode. If it helps to know, there will be no off-weeks or double episodes or anything like that through episode 182, so it will be regular pace as usual. If you'd like to read the upcoming episode titles and get some good knowledge about what's coming up, check out this topic in the NBF. We'll update you next week when we recieve information on the title of episode 183. Also, doing some code testing, click the "show" button to display the upcoming episode titles up to 182.

The 2nd batch of news, one meant for a more specific audience, is that the University of Hawaii has blocked Dattebayo's website (oh no!). If you go to the UH and relied on DB's website for your weekly episode, there's not much that we can do directly (obviously), but we at Naruto Bunshin will do our best to get you the episode as easily as possible (if you don't find any other ways of getting it, or proxying past UH's filter =P). Hopefully there aren't too many of you, but I figured this would be worth mentioning.
We have one more news article that concerns Naruto Bunshin itself, but it isn't ready yet since we have to get eveything ready otherwise it'd be dumb =P. Cya!
